Christchurch Community Centre offers a variety of well-equipped spaces suitable for a wide range of leisure, sport, and community activities. Whether you’re planning a class, hosting an event, or running a regular group, our flexible facilities can be tailored to your needs. 

Please note: all listed capacities are approximate.

Main Hall

Capacity: 120 people
Pricing: £0.00-£15.00 per hour

Our main hall is suitable for larger events such as training courses, business meetings, conferences, weddings, christenings, parties, plays and networking events. Within the hall there is a bar and direct access to the recreation ground.

It has a maximum capacity of 120 people. These figures include helpers and performers and, as per our insurance policy should not, under any circumstances, be exceeded.

Equipment & services

Our fully equipped, modern kitchen is available to book with hall hire, allowing you to prepare hot or cold food and refreshments for your event. It includes a range cooker, microwave, tea urn, larder fridge, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery, water jugs, utensils, and large worktops for food preparation. For safety reasons, children are not permitted in the kitchen.
Our licensed bar is a great addition to any wedding or party. We offer a selection of beers, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks and can stock the bar (within reason) to suit your requirements. A cashless payment system ensures a quick and easy service for you and your guests.
The small meeting room is equipped with a 55” flat screen TV with HDMI/USB/Bluetooth connectivity. The large hall has a portable stage, 120” laser TV with HDMI/USB/Bluetooth connectivity.

Meeting Room

Capacity: 30 people
Pricing: £7.50-£10.00 per hour

The meeting room is smaller than the main hall and has flexible uses. Currently it is used for hosting breakfast gatherings, first aid courses as well as Parish Council meetings. The room is supported by direct access to the kitchen as well to the outdoor lawned area.

Capacity: 100 people
Pricing: £0.00-£7.50 per hour

A full standard sized football pitch, but with the ability to create smaller areas for 5 a side use, football training, etc.

Home and Away changing facilities, showers and toilets.

Training Ground

Capacity: 50 people
Pricing: £0.00-£10.00 per hour

Suitable for both adult and youth football training.

Enclosed Lawn

Capacity: 100 people

Our enclosed lawn area - accessible via the meeting room - is a smaller, secure space and has been used previously for parties, BBQs, dog training and music events.
